Cisco Systems released a patch Monday to fix a critical security vulnerability, with a CVSS rating of 10, in its Secure Sockets Layer VPN solution called Adaptive Security Appliance.
Cisco said an unpatched critical vulnerability exposed by WikiLeaks’ Vault 7 release of CIA documents could give an attacker full control of the targeted switches and routers.
Cisco is warning customers of a privilege escalation flaw in Cisco CloudCenter Orchestrator systems that could allow an attacker to gain root privileges on affected systems.
